    New rarity: AR

    July 7, 2017 by Juandalyn

For a few days now a new kind of rarity has been added to the game: Animation Rarity, short AR.

The first new card is Kanazawa Tomoko:

To be honest I'm not exactly sure where to put this new rarity into the succession. I imagine it's at the same level as the VR cards, as they're basically gimmick cards (VRs being voices, ARs being animated.)

    N < R < SR < SSR < SSR Kai < GR  =/< VR = AR (?) < UR < LR

From the latest update on you might have seen this information on your screen (for a few seconds):

    Here's a translation for it:

    '

Haro Pro Tap Live is a service in Japan only.

Use outside of Japan will not be covered by the service of this application.

When it is found out [that you're using this app outside of Japan], it is issued to the target customer. The account will also be suspended from this service.

    Please acknowledge it beforehand.

Yes, this means that your account might be closed because you're not playing from Japan. I'm not exactly sure why they would be doing this, maybe there's some legal stuff going on, but be prepared. From now on you won't be able to play the game with a non-Japanese ID anymore either. When done loading the game…

Some days ago (March 29 to be precise) the developers introduced a new song mode: NEXT STAGE, or NEXT for short.

This mode still uses a lot of the typical button tapping that you're used to, but it also introduces two new ways to "tap": Flick and Swipe.

Flick buttons are the ones with the little arrows on them. The idea is simple: Instead of tapping them when they reach the tap area you flick them in the direction they're showing. Means, if an arrow shows left you flick to the left side instead of tapping the button. Swipe are little whirl buttons and work similar to the star buttons in the usual gameplay: You hold the note. The difference is that you end the note at a different button than where it started. You more or less "swipe" your fi…

Doing these made me realise how much I messed up my notes. I will be able to fill up the missing spots, since there's a bunch of cards that aren't even in my notes yet (mostly from when the developers decided to dump 20 new GRs every 3 days on us), but for now we've got to live with the holes.

I've got to be honest, the "All" Cards page thing never worked properly for me. Since I'm done with my essay now and still have some days left until university starts again, I'm gonna try to list some cards. This time the important aspects will be rarity, number and looks (without actually linking a picture, that's too time consuming right now) while I'll disregard Charm, Fans, Stage Appeal etc.

I'll start with the latest cards because I still remember them. /EDIT: Finished, I think having 100 cards per blog post should be enough.

    Updating the Wiki

    November 15, 2016 by Juandalyn

    Hello everybody,

I've finally come to update some crucial game features. First of all, the Past Events page is up to date.

Secondly, and more importantly, I'm currently updating the songs. All new songs will be added. Also, more information on each song will be added. So far I went with a certain template:

    • Added on
    • General Style / Color
    • How to unlock
    • Uniform Skill

Depending on the availability I'm going to add the hit tables as well as the scores need for each rank. However, there's still a lot of information missing, and I'd be very grateful if you could help me.

Same goes with the member and group card pages. These are still incomplete to the max, which isn't getting any better with the developer throwing out photocards. We also might have to sp…

Hello everybody! First of all, I'm happy to see that there are people who want to help out with the wiki. It's been some busy weeks and with the game uploading 10-20 new cards every event we tend to be a bit slow with updates.

Secondly, since there were questions about how to help, I thought writing a general blog post about contributions would be the best way to get the informations out.

    1. Adding cards and card information

This is probably the most important of the wiki. There are more or less three steps to adding the cards:

    • Get the image (it doesn't matter if it's a screenshot from the game or a download from a website (the official twitter account tends to post the newest cards as well).
    • Upload it to the wiki. You can do so through the "Ph…

    Preview Icons

    August 26, 2015 by Juandalyn

The new update brought a novelty to the Idol dictionary (the overview over all cards that are in the game). Before the update the cards that you didn't own were shown as question marks (the icon we also used for "unknown" cards). Now it shows the actual icon in brown shades.

To give a better overview over the cards as long as we couldn't find the real icons yet we're trying to use the new icons now.

    Small update 7/18

    July 17, 2015 by Juandalyn

As you may have noticed, the game downloaded data before you could play. There were two updates:

    • The reprint Gacha is back! You can get rare cards from the previous event in a special Gacha. One draw costs more than the usual Star Stona Gacha though, 5 instead of 3 Star Stones. The cards for this time are SSR Fukumura Mizuki (Valentine Edition), SSR Oda Sakura (Golden Week Edition), SR Nakajima Saki (Valentine Edition) and SR Tamura Meimi (from the Special Live Event).
    • They finally added daily quests. You can find them under the Options menu and then the button in the central row on the right.

    July 14, 2015 by Juandalyn

An update for the game is available, and it's not possible to play the game without it anymore.

    • The game button on your layout is now Kanazawa Tomoko, not Tsugunaga Momoko anymore.
    • After a Live, the hit statistic and best score screen have been modified.

    Weekend Event Gacha

    June 26, 2015 by Rikki21

We have a new event gacha starting today, in addition to the others! It will last from Friday to Sunday night, hence the name Weekend Event Gacha.

The differences between this Weekend Event Gacha and the normal Event Gacha is that it costs 5 Star Stones for a single pull and 50 for a x10 pull as opposed to 3 and 30. In addition, you have a higher chance to pull a R/SR/SSR and SSR's with a higher chance to pull are previous Event Gacha.

Normal Event Gacha Weekend Event Gacha
    R 81.40% R 71.20%
    SR 14.35% SR 21.00%
    SSR 4.25% SSR 7.8%

The SSRs with a higher chance are:

    • MM's (High Tension L)
    • MM's (High Tension L)
    • Berryz's (High Tension M)
    • CG's (Heat Up L)

    Card List

    April 27, 2015 by Rikki21

We've got the Card List beginning to come out nicely. All of Morning Musume have been added, complete with mouse over images of the cards. Sortable by rarity, charm, fans, and the group. Please help out keeping this list up-to-date!

We've almost got all the navigation pages finished, only a few more! Navigation pages complete (though they may need to be spruced up)! Then all that's needed is aesthetic changes, upkeep, and new additions. Hopefully we can get all of the Live Rewards complete eventually.

Let's work together and make this great!

Edit: I've also added the ID's to the card and costume tables. So, we don't have to go in and edit to figure out what the ID is, we can just look at the table and it'll say so. Yay.

Due to a bug last event, you were unable to gain the SR Masaki or Clover Clothing during the 2nd half of the event. For the 2nd half of this event, these will now have a chance to drop if you rank S or SS in a live.

Also, more Star Stones for 3 days if you login every day!

(I can confirm SR Masaki does drop.)

    Special IDs

    April 2, 2015 by Rikki21

So, when linking to an idol page from a picture (like the front page event rewards) it has been defaulting to the top of the page, instead of to that idol card.

However, with the addition to table IDs to the templates, we can link specifically to any idol card card we wish. Want to link directly to the SSR Kudo from last event? Now you can!

The IDs have not all been implemented yet. Ideally, we'd want them numbed by which card came out first, but since there's no sort of list saying so...we'll be doing it somewhat randomly.

Morning Musume will start at 1 on the MM page and count up, then we'll go to Berryz and continue from there and so on, and so forth. Then, when new cards get added we'll just count up from where we left off.

    MM's IDs are co…

If you've visited the wiki before, you'll find the background image and wiki colors different from before. I'm experimenting a bit, so it may change. However, I'm thinking the background image will always be newly released cards, but I'm not completely sold on the idea. Yeah, changed it to background for the game. For now.

If you think the layout is horrible or you have suggestions on making it better, please comment below! The image with Hello! Pro Tap Live Wiki on it in particular I'm not too fond of, but maybe that's just me not liking things I've created.

If you haven't visited the forum yet, you may not know Juandalyn and I have adopted the wiki. Hajike Tobiume is still the Founder, of course, but Juandalyn and I have admin powers now to…

March 14, 2015: New main page! Kudos to the Valkyrie Crusade wiki for the layout. We have quite a lot of work to do on the wiki! *glances at all the red links* Some pages may look weird as I (and others) start editing things. I'm messing around with some Templates and they seem to be a little buggy. Please bare with me! Rikki21 (talk) 22:06, March…
